Dear RED,

Shame on you for missing one of my letters, hmph! :-P

We’re ok, we’re back in Manila. Ugh, the traffic. Every time I go home then go back here, the traffic reminds me how much I want to leave the Metro. BUT the Fairview area is quite nice lately, I must agree. It’s so COLD, brrr…especially in the mornings. Ang sarap, parang nasa probinsya pa din ako.

I went to UP yesterday to get my college diploma. Yes, i went to claim it SEVEN years after I graduated from the College of Arts and Letters, tee hee. I proceeded right away to law school so I kind of forgot all about it. I always told myself that I’d get it tomorrow, next week, next month, next year – such a procrastinator. I got my lawschool diploma two years before I claimed my undergrad diploma, jeez. Anyway, I needed a clearance for that so Ras and I went to the registrar. I went to the old one, it felt like I was in a ghost town! I didn’t know there was a new building for the registrar. Felt so silly. There are a lot of changes and improvements in UP, I’m happy to say.

The Starbucks planner for this year is way too plain, to my utter disappointment. But I got one anyway, I have this obsessive-compulsive disorder when it comes to collections – once I start collecting, I have to continue doing it. Pathetic, really.

Hmmn, why do I go to Starbucks? I actually like their coffee and their well-lit cafes. I understand your sentiments, however, and I agree. It’s gotten way too noisy inside Starbucks cafes, I can’t hear myself think. Oh well. Mocha Blends is quieter, but I don’t like its dark interior – makes me want to go to sleep.

As for the baby, yup we’ve already undergone an ultrasound, but it wasn’t that clear. All the time the sonologist kept pointing body parts to me (here are the arms, the legs, his head, etc), I was trying to pretend I could see all those things, harhar. It just wasn’t clear to me. But I did see the heart beating, it was a wonderful experience.

I guess you do have reason to be glad that you won’t ever have to undergo this experience, it’s hard sometimes…but I think it’s SO worth it, feeling another human being inside you. Bleh. :-P

I’m glad you liked the Dark Materials. I’m reading (actually, I’m listening to an audiobook version of it) INKDEATH right now, it’s the third (and last) installment of another series for children. It’s all right, you might want to read it as well. I think the first movie of the trilogy, INKHEART, will be showing soon, starring Brendan Fraser ( I wonder why producers of adventure and fantasy movies like him so much?).

Cannot wait to watch Benjamin Button. Please don’t become a Brad Pitt fanatic, though. I’d laugh at you, harhar.

Over and out for now.
