Nikka, whom I was able to meet later on in person at one of the workshops by Writer’s Block Philippines, is the Contributing Editor of Smile magazine for its Domestic Trip Journal. Smile meanwhile, is the in-flight magazine of Cebu Pacific. I was glad to find out that my words about my hometown are featured in the December issue of Smile.

Here’s the portion about my city:

Thank you, Nikka! And thank you, Cebu Pac!

  1. For sure! Datu’s Brew is the best place to taste global-standard quality coffee in Cotabato City! Then on top of great-tasting coffee, you’ll enter into Maguindanao history, art, and peace advocacy in a kind of kairos-moment-experience. You just have to go there to understand what I’m sayin’.
